StopWaterScale Hydrotech 1240 Pro Series 4 Stage Reverse Osmosis System

The Hydrotech 1240 Pro Series (4VTFC75GPB) is Hydrotech's premier line of reverse osmosis sytems, features a Smartap push button monitor that tells you when you should change your membrane. The Hydrotech 1240 Pro Series filters water through four stages to ensure your water is free of the pathogens, dissolved solids and organics, pesticides and VOCs that lurk in your home's tap water. This model differs from the Hydrotech 1240 E Series in that it contains an exclusive sediment filter in addition to two carbon filters and the RO membrane. It also comes with an air gap faucet that prevents waste water from reentering your water supply. Also known as item 1240303.

Our Hydrotech Reverse Osmosis System offer a more advanced treatment process than typical entry level pour-through pitchers or faucet filters. At the heart of the system is a reverse osmosis membrane which removes impurities as small as an atom! Additionally, your water passes through a series of sediment and carbon filters – eliminating any unwanted tastes and odors giving your water a polished, fresh taste!

The Hydrotech Reverse Osmosis System is a 4-Stage RO system which combines mechanical filtration with reverse osmosis technology for effective water filtration treatment in point-of-use applications. It also features a thin film composite membrane, a dual purpose sediment and activated pre-carbon filter, activated post-carbon filter, automatic shut-off, chrome standard faucet and a storage tank.

Unit includes the patented Smartap® Push Button Monitor ($59.00 extra from most resellers). Smartap® allows the user to monitor the quality of the water filtering. Green light will indicate proper filtration, red light will indicate time to replace filters. Replace stage 1,2,4 filters at the slight loss of pressure or every 12 months is recommended. Replace stage 3 every 3 years or when indicated by red light. NSF Approved

Hydrotech Reverse Osmosis Systems include 3/8” outlet tubing to the faucet for higher flows, quick connect fittings and color-coded tubing for easy installation and servicing. The Hydrotech 1240 Pro Reverse Osmosis System can be neatly stored under the counter and provides you with clean, delicious Water Filtration right from its own dedicated tap.

A pressure regulator is recommended for feed water pressures exceeding 80 psi. The performance of a reverse osmosis membrane is highly dependent upon pressure, temperature, and water chemistry. The actual volume of product water and rejection percentage will vary with differences from the test conditions upon which the membrane ratings are based. These drinking water systems are not intended to be used for the treatment of water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. Storage tank capacity is dependent pressure.
