Scalewatcher® Residential Series Ten Year Limited Warranty

The Scalewatcher® Residential models are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for (10) ten years from date of installation. Scalewatcher® will, at its election, repair or replace defective units within ten (10) years after installation. Scalewatcher® is not responsible for removal or installation costs or for failure or malfunction of any other electrical or water appliance or device. See extended warranty disclaimers below.

Scalewatcher® Five Year Limited Warranty

Scalewatcher® Commercial and Industrial models are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for (5) five years from date of installation. Scalewatcher® will, at its election, repair or replace defective units within five (5) years after installation. Scalewatcher® is not responsible for removal or installation costs or for failure or malfunction of any other electrical or water appliance or device. See extended warranty disclaimers below.

Scalewatcher® Small Wonder Two Year Limited Warranty

The Scalewatcher® Small Wonder model is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for (2) two years from date of installation. Scalewatcher® will, at its election, repair or replace defective units within two (2) years after installation. Scalewatcher® is not responsible for removal or installation costs or for failure or malfunction of any other electrical or water appliance or device. See extended warranty disclaimers below.

Twelve Month Money Back Guarantee

The Scalewatcher® system works effectively and we want to ensure that it works for you! The purpose of this guarantee is to ensure customer satisfaction with the Scalewatcher® following a reasonable period from installation, at least 6 months and not more than 12 months continuous operation, to avoid a 15% restocking fee. All exterior units and Commercial and Industrial units have a 6 month performance guarantee. The Small Wonder only has a 90 day performance guarantee.

If you believe your unit is not operating correctly, take the following action:

  • Check Green lamp is illuminated, (when signal leads are connected).
  • Check that signal coil is correctly wrapped and connected
    (see installation instructions for detail).
  • Check that the signal coil is not closer than 15cm (6”) from any major
    steel/iron objects, motors and appliances.
  • Check to establish where the coil is in relation to the earth bonding connection
    (a clip on the metal water pipe with a green/yellow cable connected to it).
    The coil should be at least 15cm (6”) from this if possible.
  • Check all points covered in the Performance Guide.

This guarantee does not include the total elimination of scale in non-free flowing water systems, e.g. steam generators and kettles, because the calcium (still present in the water) will obviously harden if left to settle on extremely hot heater elements.

Team 1 One Return Policy

We strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction by providing top quality products. We realize, however, that sometimes an item is not exactly what you expected. If you wish to return an item, you may do so and receive a credit towards an upgrade or a refund of the purchase price. All return items must be accompanied by proof of purchase, and returned in good condition with no missing parts or damage. Shipping Charges are not refundable If you return an item that qualified for free or reduced shipping, any shipping savings will be deducted from the refund amount. If you wish to return an item, please contact us by phone at 1-317-859-7665 or email us at support@scalewatcherus.com. After providing proof of purchase, we well then issue you an RGA# that must be included with the return. For your protection please insure and track your return package. Credits will be made upon receiving and examining returned unit. Unauthorized returns or items returned used, damaged, or not in their original condition and packaging may result in a delayed refund, partial refund, in-store credit, or refusal of the returned items.

Damages & Missing Items

If you have received an item that has been damaged or are missing items from your order, contact us by phone at 1-317-859-7665 or within 5 business days of receipt. In the event that an order contains damaged or defective items for which a customer does not wish a replacement, the customer will be responsible for returning the items according to the return policy.

Warranty Disclaimers: These guarantees do not extend to any other electrical or water appliance or device that may be in use by the user of Scalewatcher and we accept no liability for the malfunction of any device other than Scalewatcher which has, either directly or indirectly been sold to the user. Evidence of immersion in water or tampering with electronics will void warranty. Removing the identification plate will void the Warranty and Performance Guarantee. The Scalewatcher technology does not affect the potability or the natural mineral content of water therefore, no liability claimed or expressed can be brought against the descaler for water quality.
